RO membranes are simply woven filters in which the pours go down to the size of molecules. Different membranes filter different size molecules out and allow anything smaller to pass through.
One stream enters membrane housing and two streams leave it - one concentrated dirty stream and one clean stream.
On average a 4040 membrane can have a flow rate of 7L/min. For more flow add more membranes.

As chromate baths age they can slow down and stop working. Many of our competitors will advise that a very costly bath dump is necessary, this may not be the case.
Auschem is the only company in Australia offering an in situ fix.
Alumifix BN was developed to counter the sulphate drag in & extend the bath life of older chromate conversion baths. Particularly where the number of rinse tanks are limited & water flow rates are not removing the sulphate levels in these rinse tanks. Consequently the sulphate ends up in the chromate conversion bath slowly reducing the bath quality.

As acid etching remains Australia’s most common pre-powdercoating surface preparation for aluminium finishers, it is important that the most up to date and efficient chemistry developments are a high priority. For volume applicators Australian Chemicals & Coatings has developed our Alumbrite 21 Series acid etching for extruded, honed and sheet aluminium alloys.
Alumibrite 21 Series comes in various forms specific to requirements for dip tanks, horizontal spray lines and vertical lines. Chrome-free is becoming the industry standard for the pre-treatment of Aluminium prior to powder coating in the architectural industry. Titanium- and Zirconium-based systems have successfully replaced Chrome(VI) in the majority of the world. But, compared to Chrome(VI)-systems, Chrome-free systems are invisible, they have much tighter operation windows and they are quickly moving towards borderline performance in respect to filiform corrosion and paint adhesion, especially in case of ageing or contamination of the bath.
SurTec 643 combines SurTec’s long-term experience in running and operating Chrome-free technologies in regions like France, Middle East or North Africa with the well-founded understanding of our technical community to improve specific characteristics of metal pre-treatment processes. The result is a product, which uses the traditional skeleton of Zirconium and Polymer, but, the choice of a brand new polymer in combination with the optimal Zirconium ingredients leads to an innovative and unique product. The coating can comfortably be controlled via the bath and easily measured in the coating. In addition, it shows a significantly improved performance in respect to filiform corrosion and paint adhesion, especially when it comes to contamination and ageing effects. On top, the uniformity of the coating weight along a profile, especially in vertical lines, could be optimized.
To cut it short: SurTec 643 brings comfort and safety to Aluminium coaters to run and control a Chrome-free process.

Aluminium Extrusion and Smelting
Condat are specialists in all Aluminium Extrusion and Smelting. They have a wide range of products, which are designed for specific needs:
- CONDALU 256C - Covers evenly on surfaces and makes a barrier, which prevents metalic diffusion. It creates a low friction film in a wide range of temperatures and also makes refractory film. Usually sprayed.
- GREASE FL20 - Graphite grease for treating rings on extrusion log casting equipment. The molten aluminium sets in the ring and then moves down into a water cooled pit -kind of continuous casting.
- GREENFLUX 400 - sawing of cold billets etc. Used neat by micro spray. Non staining
- CONDALU 97 can be used to coat chutes transferring Aluminium from furnace to moulds etc. (like a ladle coating)
- TERMASYNTH EP2 - for lubrication of furnace door hinges. Could also be used on Ingot moulds.
- CONDALU 97 and CONDALU 51 - can be used to lubricate small ingot moulds- CONDALU 97 is a pre-treatment painted after moulds have been cleaned, CONDALU 51 is a top up coating during use and is sprayed onto the hot mould as supplied when sticking becomes a problem. An ingot moulding machine looks like a tank track with the moulds making up the links. The aluminium is introduced into the next mould which then travels up at around 45 degree angle along the track (with cooling) until it reaches the top where the ingot mould tips over (releasing the ingot) and travels on the underside of the machine back to the bottom.
- HT2906 - can be used on chains driving ingot casting equipment.
- CONDALU 51 - can also be used to lubricate hot cropping knives. For hot cropping of Al extrusion log.

Glass and Glass Fibre Manufacturing
Condat Lubricants supply an array of products suitable for use in the Glass Fibre Manufacturing.
HT2906 – is a semi-synthetic oil designed for the lubrication and protection of transmission and transport chains working at elevate temperatures. It’s 
recommended for painting line chains and conveyors laminated panel production and fibre glass production lines.
Chain Oil WP46 – is a synthetic oil designed for the lubrication of transmission and/or transport chains working under heavy loads and wet conditions. It has a low surface tension ensuring excellent penetration of lubricant into difficult to reach areas.
G Start – is a graphite technical coating that produces a coating on all metallic surface in order to modify their frictional and surface properties. It is usable in a wide variety of activities where friction constraints are important. These activities include: Mechanical, Glassmaking, Forge, Foundries and Wiredrawing.
Condaglass Range – Condaglass 370 and Condaglass 379 are swabbing lubricants containing graphite, sulphur and other additives, for hollow glass packaging. These products are recommended for all glassware and all forming processes.
Bioglass – There are 3 versions of Bioglass in the condat range. Bioglass 08 is a synthetic soluble, water based lubricant which is biodegradable and designed for glass cutting. Bioglass DLS 80 F is a shear spray lubricant, very similar to Bioglass 08 but it does not contain mineral oil. Bioglass DLS 90 F is the same as Bioglass DLS 80 F but it contains a unique mixture of oils.
Tram and Rail Network
Condat provide an extensive range of railroad switch lubrications.
Switch Rail Greases : biodegradable greases developed for the lubrication of mobile points and devices of railroads.
Railway Wheel Flange Lubrication: biodegradable and no toxic greases and oils, 100 % synthetic, intended for the lubrication of wheels thr
ough embarked or fixed distribution systems situated around railroads. These lubricants allow a significant reduction of the noises and the wears.
Rail Fich Plate Lubrication: Biodegradable and non-toxic grease, easy to apply, to ensure slippage and the disassembly.
Catenary Lubrication: Greases manufactured with dry lubricants to ensure the interface between catenary / pantograph. This lubricant allows to reduce wear due to friction and protect the cable from external elements.
Greases for Curved Railroad Tracks : Biodegradable and non-toxic greases. When they are applied to the input curves, they allow reducing wear on wheel / rail contact and limited significantly noise (squealing, etc ...)
Wheel Flange Greases: Biodegradable and non-toxic oils and greases. Applied with adapted lubrication systems, they can limit the wear between the Wheel and the Rail, and reduce the noise associated to friction. Buffers and Screw Coupling Lubricants: Biodegradable oils and greases, or "mineral" with dry lubricants, to protect contact surfaces against wear and corrosion.
Bogie/Truck Grease:
Grease for the lubrication of bogie/truck (Axles, Levers…). It has excellent protection against corrosion and wear.
Petrochemical, Mining Equipment and Quarrying
Bio-Natur Hydrolabel - is an Eco-Label certified high quality hydraulic oil formulated for saturated esters. It is specifically recommeneded for different places where spillage recovery can't be organised in a preventative way to protect the environment.
Condat D - This is a range of synthetic fluids without water content formulated organic ester base. When hydraulic installations are working in close premises where fire risks are present, Condat D can be used.
Bio-Natur Grease - is a general purpose viscous grease. It must be used instead of usual greases when environmental protection is taken into account. It's especially designed to be used in centralised greasers and low power reduction gear units.

Mitra - is a synthetic product designed for the lubrication of disc-cut and cutting systems on single or multi-face corrugated lines.
Termasynth EP2 – Lubrication under severe conditions of use, high temperatures, presence of solvents, acids and radiation is often hard to control. The use of Termasynth EP 2 synthetic grease provides good results in these fields.
Tube Rolling and Drawing
Condatub SL 550 - is a bio stable micro-emulsion oil designed for rolled and welded rube production and forming operations. It is generally used at 5% as coolant for the production of rolled and welded tubes and is recommended for Aluminium, Stainless Steel and the most severe operations on carbon steel.

SurTec 609 GV
SurTec 609 GV is based on trivalent chromium and is suitable as multi-metal passivation prior to painting steel, aluminium, HDG and EG zinc die cast. This Phosphate free Pre-Treatment is especially designed for subsequent anaphoretic or cataphoretic paint and produces uniform nano-size layers. It gives perfect adhesion of lacquers, excellent corrosion protection, has no or very low sludge formation, only requires a low process temperature and is especially robust again flash corrosion.
SurTec 640
SurTec 640 is a no-rinse chromium-free conversion coating for aluminium. It’s suitable for use prior to powder respraying, wet painting and chemical respraying, adhesive bonding and is the optimal pre-treatment for adhesion and corrosion resistance. SurTec 640 is the global No. 1 chromium-free technology for aluminium that forms a colourless conversion layer and is applicable in spray and flooding application in horizontal and vertical lines as well as in immersion application. It has a proven track record as aluminium pre-treatment in the building, automotive supplier, electronics and wheel industry. It enhances the corrosion resistance when used as post-seal for phosphate alternative or phosphate layers. This special product is based on Bulk Chemical Technology and is proven to be a far more environmentally friendly method in terms of waste treatment and is economically easier to dispose of.
SurTec 650
SurTec 650 is a Chromium(VI)-Free Passivation for Aluminium for the Electronics, Automotive and Aero-space industry. It’s a liquid concentrate based on trivalent chromium, which is suitable as conversion coating of magnesium and as a post-treatment of anodic coatings. This specific SurTec product is used as a pre-treatment before lacquering, powder-coating and gluing. It has excellent bare corrosion protection comparable to hexavalent passivations and works on alloyed and casted aluminium, whilst being easy to handle in immersion, spray and wipe application.
